How many schools does Manhattan College have?

Manhattan College has three schools: the Kakos School of Arts and Sciences, the O’Malley School of Business and the School of Engineering.

Manhattan College restructured its six schools into three to better position its students to acquire career-ready skills, as well as more efficiently manage our offerings and focus our resources in areas where our students see the highest value.

Will Manhattan College continue to offer graduate programs?
Yes. Manhattan College will continue to focus on graduate programs that prepare students to lead in today’s economy.
How is Manhattan College supporting students in programs that were eliminated?
Unfortunately, the school restructuring did eliminate some programs with low enrollment and resulted in the merging of some departments. We are committed to supporting all students that are enrolled in these programs so that they will be able to complete their studies and graduate on time.
Who is leading the changes at Manhattan College?

Manhattan College welcomed James J. Perrino as our new Vice President for Finance / Chief Financial Officer, who has been working in finance, accounting and higher education for more than 40 years with a fantastic track record overseeing finance at Adelphi University. We recently brought in Dr. Karen Vahey as our new Vice President for Enrollment Management, and we are already seeing the impact of her deep experience. And of course, we are guided by a thoughtful and passionate Board of Trustees, led by Chair Stephen Squeri.
